Fall is almost here, let the fall decor start! We live in Florida so we do not get the pretty fall weather,  but decorating for the season is still a must. There’s nothing like the warm cozy feeling this season brings. This year’s first project was this pumpkin banner that took only 3 supplies and 3 simple steps.

Dollar Tree Wooden Pumpkins

Supplies Needed to make your pumpkin banner

  1. Dollar Store Color your own Pumpkin Ornaments
  2. Washi Tape – AMAZON STORE
  3. Twine- AMAZON STORE
  4. Mod Podge

Steps

The steps are so easy for this DIY. The hardest part of the entire project is picking what washi tape you are going to use. I decided to go with black and white for the season. It’s what is trending this year and I love it!

Step 1 – Start by tearing strips of washi tape. I randomly chose different patterns to add different textures and styles. I would suggest making the strips longer than the pumpkin as it helps when applying them.

Step 2 – Lay the washi tape on top of the pumpkins. I found it was best to wrap the washi tape and secure it to the back of the pumpkin. Washi tape isn’t too sticky so wrapping it helps keep it in place. It is best to seal the washi tape to the pumpkin using Mod Podge.

PUMPKINS

How fun are these?! You can have fun mixing it up with different washi tape colors and patters. I love how each one is different, yet they go together perfectly. Think of all the possibilities you have for this pumpkin banner – you can even add orange washi tape to give it a pop of color!

Step 3- Attach the pumpkins to the twine. Make sure you tie them tight so they stay in place, I found if you tie loosely they move around too much. Once attached you have the pumpkin banner ready to hang.

Use the twine that comes in the pack to attach

Easy as 1, 2, 3!

And we are done! I hope you give this pumpkin banner a try! If you do I would love for you to share, and make sure to use the hashtag: #beeinspiredmarket
