How to make your own sweater ornaments
Simply use the ornament as a template and trace it directly on the sweater. Cut the template out. Quick tip: make sure to use fabric scissors, it makes it so much easier to cut the sweater.
An alternative if you can’t locate the Dollar Tree ornaments is simply finding a clip art image on the internet and printing it out to use. I found this adorable mitten and printed it to size.

Trace the image on the sweater – my images were about 5 inches tall and 3 inches wide.
Cut the image out. It’s important to keep the sweater together so you are cutting both layers at the same time

Glue the 2 pieces together, do not glue all sides, leave the top open so you can fill it with poly-fill.
Cut the twine and tie into a small loop, then glue the loop to the inside of the ornament

Stuff your ornament and then glue off the end.

Final step is the embellishments , that’s the fun part!
