I am always looking for a good craft that can be used all season long. Less stress and less mess make me happy, I confess. This simple and super cute Dollar Tree Door Hanger Pillow is reversible, so it can last all winter long.
Dollar Tree Reversible Door Pillows

I picked out my favorite Christmas Hanger Pillow at Dollar Tree and found an adorable winter design to jazz up the blank side. This allows me to keep this cutie out in my home for the entire season! That is my kind of DIY Cricut decor, especially when it is budget-friendly and beautiful.
So if you want to learn how to get this exact look, or are just here for inspiration, then you are in the right place. Let me show you step by step how to successfully get the job done using your Cricut machine. Go grab your supplies, and let’s get started on your very own Dollar Tree Door Hanger Pillow.
SUPPLIES NEEDED TO MAKE YOUR Dollar Tree Reversible Door Pillows
- Dollar Tree Door Hanger Pillow
- Winter Images (winter Wonderland and Hot Cocoa) from Design Space (size 6×6)
- Heat Transfer Vinyl – Glitter, Foil, and Black
- Pom Pom Ribbon
- Beads
- Hot glue gun
- Heat Press
- Paper cutter/Exacto knife
- Pin Pen
- Cricut
- Cricut Mat (unless you have Smart Vinyl that doesn’t require a mat because it is thicker)
- Puppy Pads
STEPS:
Dollar Tree Door Hanger Pillows

1 - Prep your Dollar Tree Door Hanger Pillows as you remove your little white tags.
2 - Get your images cut on your Glitter, Foil, and Black HTV by using a Cricut machine. I found these great Hot Cocoa and Winter Wonderland images from Design Space. Then I found the Foil and Glitter vinyl I wanted for my project. Tip* Don’t forget to mirror your images when they are printed.
3 - Begin weeding all of your images with your weeding tool. Carefully cut out the parts you do not need as you weed. Set aside.
4 - Set your Heat Press to 295 Degrees for 30 seconds. Tip* You can always check the Design Space Heat Guide to determine how long to set your Heat Press for determining the materials being used so you always get it right. No more guessing!
5 - Carefully place your image on your Door Hanger. Add your Heat Press right on top. Tip* Remove nice and slow so as to not accidentally pull off your HTV in spots you don't want to have come off. If needed, add the heat press on for just a few seconds more.
6 - Grab your hot glue gun and let it warm up. Cut the end of your jute on your hanger pillow. Add a bit of hot glue on the ends to easily add fun beads to add some festive flair.
7 - Add some hot glue to the last bead to hold it in place on your jute. Reattach your hanger just with a bit of hot glue in a tiny slit added to your pillow. Set aside and get started on your next-door hanger pillow.
8 - Repeat adding your Winter Wonderland Images onto your next Dollar Tree Hanger Pillow. Take your time as you weed, add, and apply your heat press.
9 - Cut your jute from your hanger pillow entirely. Cut a little slit on both sides. Insert your pom pom ribbon to add to the cute SNOW feel of the Winter Wonderland image you added to the other side.
10 - Now get to decorating your home with these 2 different reversible DIY Dollar Tree Door Hanger Pillows.
