Every crafter has their favorite supplies, I have a list of my top 10 I wanted to share. I get a lot of questions on what I use so here is the list!
Here are my Top 10! For more supplies you can check out our Amazon Store
#10- Felt Balls – These can be used for so many projects! You can make garland with it or add it to a sign to make it cuter. I love using them as noses for my gnomes. You can find them on ETSY and of course Amazon carries similar ones too.
Wooden Beads- I love everything about these! From the way they feel to all the amazing projects you can use them for. If you are looking for a farmhouse feel, wooden beads are a must. This is the brand I use Wooden Beads
Did you know you could also dye them? I show you how I dyed them HERE
#9-Finger Protectors- I am notorious for burning myself with my glue gun, so these are a must have. The problem I had was that they didn’t stay on my finger, so I invented the “fake” finger! 🙂 Yes Shark Tank here I come lol. I just took 2 protectors and glued them to a dowel; I use this hack all the time!
I found these cute pink ones HERE.
#8- Jute- There are so many uses for jute. You can use it to string beads, use it has a sign hanger, and you can also use it to tie your bows together!
You can definitely find jute in most craft store, but you know I love Amazon so I found some HERE
#7- Cutting Mat- I have this on my desk to protect it. This one is very durable and wipes clean. I was lucky to find one at a garage sale, however I found one similar HERE
#6-Mini Craft Iron- I discovered this through some other crafters I watch. It is perfect to use when I decoupage paper to anything. All I do is put down some mod podge, then lay parchment paper over the paper and iron it. Seriously it never leaves wrinkles ever! This cutie I purchased from Amazon
Here’s a project I did using it HERE
#5-Scissors- These are the best- they cut so smoothy! Mine obviously need to be cleaned a bit. 🙂 Here are Scissors I use
#4-Adhesive Spray -I’ve been told you can find this at Walmart and Amazon
I have used this for so many projects, here’s an example of a project I used it for: DIY SWEATER ORNAMENTS
#3- Wager Heat Gun & Embossing Heat Tool- The Wagner heat gun is used for larger projects, due to it getting very hot. I have a scar to prove it, so please be careful. I use the embossing heat tool for smaller projects, it gets less hot and dries project quickly as well. You can find the one I use HERE
We have seen some less expensive ones at Harbor Freight too.
The embossing dryer works just as well and lets off less heat. This one I use was very inexpensive found HERE
#2- Puppy Pads- I started using these last year. I had a full box left over from when we moved from Illinois to Florida, we used them for our pets while traveling. One day I was looking for something to protect my table, I saw the puppy pads in the garage… and the light bulb went off. I have not crafted without them since, clean up is a breeze! Dollar Tree carrys them or you can find them HERE
#1- Ryobi Glue Gun- This is by far my most used and favorite tool! I’m always asked about it on our Facebook Lives, this is a must have in every craft room. It is an investment but definitely worth every penny! 🙂 This beast as I like to call it came from HERE
I hop this list was helpful! You can find all the products listed here Top 10 Craft Supplies
