How many of us are sad when all the Christmas decorations come down? This is the first year I decided to keep a tree up for all holidays. So happy we did! We put together this Valentine tree and I have to say it was so fun! It took a little time figuring out what I wanted to put on the tree but that’s always the fun part. Everyone should give it a try!
It wouldn’t be my tree if it didn’t have some DIYs on it. This little sign I made simply using a wood sign from Hobby Lobby and stenciling it with a stencil I got from Essential Stencil. The entire project took 5 minute. I just stenciled and added a quick bow.
The tag I bought from DOLLAR TREE I was originally going to make it over but decided it fit perfectly on the tree. The other galvanized hearts was a left over piece from other Dollar Tree sign.
The part I love most about the tree is the fur pom pom garland. I found some fur pom pom ornaments at Michaels. I took them off the picks and strung them on some cotton twine. Adding some white pom pom garland I had left over from Christmas worked so well with the fur pom poms.
Now, a Valentine tree would not be complete without hearts! I found heat ornaments at Michaels and grabbed them using my coupon. I paid only 5.00 for 12 of them. I scattered them around the tree. The pink hearts got at Dollar Tree and knew that the touch of pink went perfectly. Some may think pink and red do not mix, but I do not agree.
Who else loves Gnomes?
My favorite part of the tree I saved for last. If you have followed me for awhile, you know I’m gnome obsessed. My Valentine tree would not be complete without a gnome on it . This ornament was made on a live here.
This was our first Valentine tree but I think we will definitely be keeping the tree up all year round and changing it up. Try it you may be surprised.
